Gammelbro Camping has built a range of delicious TimeOut glamping tents that are ready for you to move into and enjoy a luxury tent vacation.
With 2 separate bedrooms, 5 beds, a dining table, full service, fridge, hob and a kerosene stove for heating, you'll want for nothing.
The outdoor terrace also has a gas grill installed, making it quick and easy to prepare your summer meals.
The harbor town of Årøsund
The small harbor town of Årøsund is the only place on the Little Belt where fish is still shipped in for sale at the fish market in Hvidesande. From Årøsund, caviar is exported to countries such as Japan, USA and Australia. Next door to the fish factory is the old boatbuilding factory, which keeps the old craftsmanship traditions alive.
Customers and other interested parties are welcome to look over the shoulders of the boat builders. By the harbor you will also find Årøsund Badehotel - a beautiful building from the 1930s. Restaurant Skipperstuen is located on the ground floor of Årøsund Badehotel, a few meters from the beach, and is open most of the year.
SUP boarding along the coast
Experience the coast from a new angle with Stand Up Paddling (SUP). Gammelbro Camping rents inflatable SUP boards complete with life jacket and adjustable paddle, so you can easily sail out and maybe even spot a porpoise.
For the more experienced, take a day trip into Haderslev Fjord and enjoy the magnificent scenery.
Camino Haderslev Næs
For hiking enthusiasts, Camino Haderslev Næs offers a 106 km long route that connects 9 beautiful churches in the South Jutland landscape.
The route offers varied nature experiences through fields and forests, along hills and water. Start at Haderslev Cathedral and end at the same place, after a journey past 9 South Jutland churches and through Dyrehaven and along Haderslev Dam.
